4 Worst Diets Ever

When it comes down to dieting, we all have numerous questions. Which diet plans work the best? Which diet plans work the quickest? Which diet plans ensure that I am getting the proper nutrition? These are just a few of the questions that a weight loss costumer might ask. Although I may not have enough time to talk about every single diet that is out there, Garmin bluechart I will tell you about the 4 worst diets ever.

A diet that focuses only on a few foods or a few food groups is a bad diet. Some examples include a strict vegan diet or the grapefruit diet. It is a proven fact that human beings need to eat from a variety of food groups in order to ensure proper nutrition. That is why we have the food pyramid. Other diets to avoid are the ones that are comprised of miracle foods or miracle ingredients. There is no way that a single food or food group eaten together can have an impact on weight loss.

Something else to avoid are diets which are based on fasting and very low calories. When you fast or reduce your calorie intake for a few days your metabolism adjusts to that change. Then when you go back to your normal diet your metabolism has to work twice as hard and it produces weaker results. This is called the yo-yo syndrome. Furthermore, fasting and consuming a very low calorie diet leaves your body without any energy. And when you don't have energy, you can't exercise. And last but not least, if you feel like a diet sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That is why "over the top gimmicks" is a sure signal of the worst diets ever. There is no miracle pill that will make you lose an exceptionally high number of calories in one week. Great things take time. So the next time you are looking for a great diet, keep in mind some of these worst diet tips.
